We have spoken about this many times in the past few months but time really is of the essence with this.
From April 6th anyone who’s business turnover for the tax year of 2024-2025 was £50,000 or above you are now due to file your self assessment for income tax on a quarterly basis.
We have an all new package designed around this and have done everything we can and need to, to ensure the smooth transition. However there is something that you need to do. This is to log onto your gateway and activate MTD (Making tax digital) on your tax account so we can then carry on as your tax agent. This is a high priority task that only you can do, failure to comply can lead to penalties direct from HMRC, if you are struggling to sort this make an appointment with us and we will help.
We will need your paperwork monthly so we can be up to date and make sure you avoid penalty points from HMRC, which can and will lead to monetary fines.
As you can see below, we have opened the new office and have settled in well.

April Filings
As you know the new tax year begins on the 6th of April and there is no better time to start your filings with us.
All of our MTD clients will be filed before the end of the month so that they are in line with the new filing requirements set out by HMRC.
Even if you are not in the MTD filings this year you may well be for the next tax year, so now is the perfect time to file and get use to how things will be for when you are in MTD regulation filings for self assessments.
